“Initially, the detail service was ordered for 11/30/2022 and then changed to 12/01/2022 by myself. Unfortunately, the local Detail.com contractor (River City Detailing), didn't arrive until 12/03/2022. I ordered the complete detail of the 2021 Honda Passport . There was a 90% satisfaction with the job after completion. The tech didn't remove a superficial "rub mark" above the driver's door handle. I was able to do so myself. For the 1990 and 1996 Ford Broncos, I ordered an "Engine Wipe Down" service for both vehicles. The tech started to power wash the engine bays of both Broncos. I asked him to stop immediately and to just hand wipe the engine bays as requested. He did so. The tech's manager called me with some negative feedback about the power washing and how it wouldn't harm my vehicle. The manager also stated that the next day there would be a "chalky" residue on the engine. This was minimal. There was, however, a significant amount of the chalky residue on the hoods, fenders, grills and grill guards of both Broncos. It was necessary to hand compound and hand wax the bodywork and the components of the Broncos. I'd had electrical problems with the 1996 Bronco after the last Detail.com contractor had power washed the engine compartment. The vehicle produced many "check engine" codes for weeks afterwards. This necessitated several trips to my mechanic and an intervention with Detail.com Customer Service. The problem was eventually rectified. Lastly, after completion, the tech departed the job site without my review(s) of the work done. I had only found out that the tech had left when the manager had called for credit card payment over the phone. Had I known that the residual work that was left for me to repair on the Broncos and the completion of the work on the Passport, I would have discussed an adjusted final payment with the River City Detailing manager. All this was unfortunate. I have come to trust Detail.com for many years. I also realize that Detail.com is a national company that hires local contractors. I hire Detail.com, not because I value my recreation time, but because I am disabled. I have a current right torn rotator cuff, a repaired left rotator cuff with a bicep repair, a left hip replacement, three right hip replacements, and trauma plate where the right side of my pelvis once was. I'm not asking for any discount. I won't be leaving a gratuity. One of my neighbors wanted to use the detailing services. Sorry, I cannot recommend this contractor to my neighbors. v/r Walt Suita”
